Meal Information

Please join us for a meal!

Sit-down meals are served every Tuesday from 5:00 – 6:00 PM at the Chelmsford Senior Center, located at 75 Groton Road (Route 40) in North Chelmsford. All ages are welcome at our meal, and no prior registration is required! You will be served a restaurant style meal by friendly people and enjoy great company! We strive to create a welcoming and supportive environment which respects our guests’ privacy and dignity and all times. Please consult our guest code of conduct for additional information.

Inclement Weather Policy

The Table of Plenty meal will be cancelled if Chelmsford Public Schools are closed or dismissed early, if evening programs are canceled, or if the Chelmsford Senior Center closes. We generally follow the same cancellation policy as the Senior Center and will have the meal if the Senior Center is open in the evening. We may, however, cancel the meal if weather conditions worsen late in the day even if the schools or Senior Center were open earlier in the day. Please check our website, Facebook page, or phone system (978.710.8328) for cancellation information. Even if we are open, guests and volunteers should use their discretion on whether they feel safe getting to the meal.

Getting to the Meal

For those able to drive, the Senior Center has ample parking. For those in need of transportation:

• LRTA Bus Route 17 stops at the Senior Center. Please visit the LRTA website for additional information on bus routes and schedules.
• The LRTA Road Runner ADA paratransit curb-to-curb service is available to persons with disabilities who are unable to use the LRTA fixed-route bus service. Reservations can be made up to one day prior to trip and cancellations are required at least 2 hours in advance. Fares cost $1.00 (in-town) or $1.50 (out of town).
